Pink represents Marburg that occurred in Kenya in 1980 and 1987.
Red represents outbreaks of Ebola Zaire which occurred in Zaire in 1976 and 1995 and in Goban in 1994 and 1996.
Orange represents the outbreaks of Ebola Sudan which occurred in Sudan in 1976 and 1979.
Yellow represents the occurence of the Ebola Tai that was discovered in 1996.
Marburg in Germany
This pink represents the initial outbreak of Marburg in 1967 in Marburg Germany.
Reston in the United States
The green represents the initial outbreak of Ebola Reston in Reston Virginia in 1989 and in Texas in 1996.
Reston in the Phillipines
The green represents the scientific isolation of Ebola Reston in the Phillipines.
