The Warehouse, Toronto ON
opening for The Tea Party
*****/*****
Great performance by this band in the limited time they were given. Most of the songs they played were off "The Devil You Know" with the exception of "wicked" from their previous album. They opened the set with an impressive live version of "Surefire" and continued to please the crowd as they waited for the headliners.
I'd love to see Econoline Crush again… only as the headlining band. If they could do this well during 45/50 minutes, I'd like to see them play an hour+ set.
And we all know what I think of the Warehouse… (see the Mudgirl/I Mother Earth/Moist reviews). It was the perfect setting for them to play in.
