INTRODUCTION

Since the computer has been integrated into the educational field, it has brought ample and varying resources to the classroom. Instructors have new opportunities to individualize the learning process, making it possible to differentiate according to individual students and their specific needs. Among the emerging technologies and probably one of the most promising, is the Internet with its vast resources covering basically every subject matter.

In the foreign language field the Internet is opening a world of language and culture that was previously learned through passively listening to the teacher and performing abstract exercises. This new digital media is used best when it complements traditional forms of instruction such as lectures, group activities, textual analysis, and taped exercises. Now the teacher has a big bag of tricks that will make every lesson an unforgettable experience for the students.
