List Poem
Poetry type: List poem
This poem creates a list of ideas, items or events. It can be of any length and can either be rhymed or unrhymed. They may be simple or intricate. The beginning of lines are usually repeated before each list.
Directions:
Think of items, ideas, or events. Introduce the theme, and then just make a list. Sometimes a closing sentence is added to wrap things up.

In my life
I have learned to play the guitar
I have learned to ride a bike
I have learned to cook a meal
I have learned to read a book
I have learned to write a story
I have learned to shoot a basketball
I have learned to love myself
And I have learned to love others
