Growing Up Gracefully
I want to grow up unsolidified,
Still energetic.
I want to drive a sportscar that seats two,
And put my dog in the passenger's side.
I want to wear shorts and see-through shirts
And never, ever act my age
If that means a sedan and sober colors.
I want to live on the beach,
Go tanning before breakfast,
And never eat a sensible dinner
Before nine o clock at night.
