Four glorious insights

  1. Our physical existence in a human body on this earth is only the exposed eighth of the totality of what we are. We are free, infinite and eternal spiritual beings!

We have another existence at a higher plane and our physical beings are as it were avatars of this other existence; those with whom we have an intimate association on this world are also our associates on this other plane, but there the association is complete and beyond time. This clarifies so many aspects of life's mystery, for instance the way sometimes people are drawn to each other almost against their will and whatever they may do are constantly reunited in their existence as humans.

  2. Respect and love for all sentient beings is an essential aspect of our journey as humans.

This respect and love is based on a recognition of the Oneness we share with them, and is expressed by acting in a way not to achieve personal short-term advantage for ourselves or for them but to assist them in their own personal journey of development and discovery.

Nor is this a brief to allow free rein to tsetse flies, malaria mosquitoes, and all kinds of harmful bacteria - our recognition of their Oneness is temppered by a degree of pragmatism which may involve extreme measures, including destruction, if it is the only means of allowing highly conscious beings to continue in their development. Intuition offers guidance to the correct course.

  3. There is a master plan! Our intuitions and insights reveal aspects of it.

This does not mean we are puppets blindly acting out a deterministic plan. Rather are we all the more free to choose, and our happiness and equilibrium is partly determined by the degree to which we have been aware of the master plan via the clues we have received, and have acted accordingly.

  4. We can move towards the realization of our existence as free, infinite and eternal spiritual beings by first liberating ourselves from those aspects of life in which we have "underdog" status.

This underdog status may be due to ignorance or lack of adequate living circumstances but is above all due to dependency whether it be on a belief, a habit, an addiction, a recurring ritual or an emotional involvement. One path to this liberation is by preparing affirmations in which we declare our freedom from the entity in question, as well as acts and verifications by which we show that this freedom is being attained. Above all we declare our independence from our own self-image as being limited in some way, can't do this, failure at that, always prone to the other.
