Ten Commandments

Here are my suggestions for ten commandments for the new age. Regular readers may recognize some of the texts!
  1. Respect the integrity of the physical body as temple of Spirit.
  2. Respect the integrity of fellow human beings.
  3. Respect the integrity of the animal kingdom as different but no less worthy of respect.
  4. Respect the memory of departed relatives and close friends, as they continue to support you in your spiritual journey.
  5. Be modest in your use of the earth's resources.
  6. Be gentle with the developing minds and souls of children.
  7. Choose your spiritual practice and keep to it.
  8. Choose your ethical life style rules and keep to them.
  9. Support your partner unconditionally in his/her spiritual journey.
  10. Support your family and group as needed in pursuing the paths they have chosen.
