Donation account to Taiwan's earthquake

Dear friends,

The Representative Office of Taipei in Germany (Taipeh Vertretung in Deutschland) has set up donation account for the earthquake in Taiwan. This is an official organized donation account, and some newspapers in Germany have already published the account (for example the Bonner General Anzeiger am 24.Sep.1999, Friday).

Please inform your friends that the donation to the International Red Cross Society will firstly be received by the Red Cross Society of mainland China, not Taiwan. No one is the sure if the donation will really reach the people in Taiwan.

We urge international donors to contact Taipei directly. Please donate the money and material direct to the Taipei representative office in Germany.

中華民國駐德國代表處，已經成立一地震救災專戶。這是由台灣官方正式組成的救災專戶，幾份德國報紙也曾經報導過（例如9月24日星期五的General Anzeiger）。捐款帳戶的詳細資料如下：
