I had a passion,
For whom I've loved and hated,
For whom I've lost.
Though the flame has not vanished,
The heat is gone.
I see the fire,
Yet I feel cold.
Chills are running up my back,
Like sharp icicles piercing my flesh.
But throught my eyes they melt,
And tears come flowing endlessly.
Looking back I wonder,
Is he the same now as before?
Though I once knew him well,
Now I feel estranged and lost.
What happened to the one I once loved?
Where's the laughter and joy now?
I can no longer have what I once did,
Because underneath he is a stranger.
I cling tight to my memories,
Treasures that cannot be stolen.
I've been living in a world of lies,
And now the truth is scarring my emotions.
