the moment you said good-bye
is the instant my heart died
I still love you, but
my heart is in pain
I hope our friendship
will always remain
you are a part of me
you'll never be forgotten
I'll forever keep your memory
the times we shared,
the laughter and tears
are things that will stay
for all my years
we have a bond that
can never be broken
you kept a piece of my heart
as your token
I hope you remember me
to the day of you death
you are with me
until my last breath
remember me
and how happy
we used to be
forget the fights
and the cry-myself-to-sleep nights
the happy times
should overshadow the bad times
maybe later, after a while
we'll try it again
maybe this time
our love will win.
