The sun shines upon your face,
revealing angelic features poured from heaven above.
My soul succumbs to your smile,
which greets my morning eyes.
The darkness plaguing my days
is vanquished by the light of your beauty.
Your gentle touch,
it heals all my pain,
like a mother to a child.
Your tender lips,
pure as a rose petal’s dew,
their touch is so soft.
Every time I crumble,
I feel it is meant to be...
