Tears That Fall

by Jennifer Graham (16)

Tears that fall to the ground
Slip away through the floor.
As they fall from my eyes
They leave stains on my face
That nothing can wash away.
As I look in the mirror I see
Swollen eyes and a tear-streaked face
I see memories behind my eyes
That no tears can remove
The memories just remain there
Waiting, for a chance to pop back into my mind.
So that I will have to cry again.
