It starts deep down
You can feel it crawl up
through your veins
The pain skips through your heart
You can feel the coldness and harm
done wrong
It lines your innocent eye
It slowly runs down
It spreads a shield over your face
protecting you from deeper harm
It drips off your chin
and falls to the ground
the pain cleans it off
and as it meant so much before
It now means nothing
except for a simple
teardrop
