Shakespeare Called Them Twinkling Spheres

by Dennis Donovan (16)

Shakespeare called them twinkling spheres,
the human eyes are truly radiant.
Shades of the rainbow
are encased in the iris.
Blue, green brown - beautiful colors in beautiful faces.
The light reflects off them, revealing their glossiness.
The emotions they show,
pain, shown in the flowing tears,
joy, found in the expression.
Pairs of eyes meet, and
gaze into each other's mind,
searching for their thoughts.
