Mysterious One

by Mark Garrett (19)

Waiting among the restless leaves
thrown about, tossed, and tumbled
falling, fallen, it makes its mark
the mysterious one has stumbled.

Whispering between the silence of the wind
chilling voices, frozen visions and vengeance
thrashing, thrashed, they make it known
that the mysterious one is in attendence.
