Martha

by Nicole Woitowich (12)

Today you see him
finally after an eternity of a summer
she came up to your locker
flushed in red, drew in a breath and said

"I was a fool to let you go,
I want you back,
I love you so...
I've lost track of my mind
your all I've dreamed of
24/7 and nine til nine"

You stare at her with passion filled eyes
said "I know"
then a part of me died...

From across town I felt a stab
my heart stopped,
I guess torturing me was the fad.

You took her hand,
and walked the halls,
You and Martha,
Laughing Loud.
