A tear drops from your eye,
As you watch life go by.
You've got nothing to live for,
Nothing at all.
You sleep and cry,
Cry and sleep.
Your dreams are to die,
The dead’s dreams are to live.
You think and wonder,
Wonder and think.
"Why did it have to be me?"
"Why is my life like this?"
You live in the dark,
You shall die there.
"Go to sleep my dear, as this is all a dream."
That is my wish,
The wish that keeps me living.
You have no love,
You have nothing but hope.
Hope for what?
Don’t you wish you knew.
"Close your eyes my dear, as I promise you
that when you shall open them you shall no longer be here."
