I look deep into your eyes everyday,
I still love you, but why don’t you love me?
I want you to love me like I love you.
This probably won’t happen, but I’ll never give in.
To get over you, I can’t even try.
It feels like I’ve been stabbed in the heart, and
every time I get the blade out,
it plunges in deeper, scraping in new agony.
I cry all night and almost go insane,
nothing else in the world could cause all this pain.
It’s so unfair that we’re so far apart,
you with your life and me with mine.
Maybe we can come together, maybe . . . . .
but now and always, forever I’ll care.
