Why does he have this power over me?
A power that controls my deepest feelings and thoughts
A power that keeps me awake at night
Why is it that if I don't get a glimpse of him today I'll be miserable until I see him again
Why do I have to be the one with nothing on my mind but him?
Why do I have to be the one tortured if he doesn't glance my way?
I know he is not worth waiting for
I desperately want to get over him
But I cannot
The power he has over me is too strong
The power he holds is a power he does not even know he has
