From a distance,
You seem to really care,
And the sincerity you claim to have,
Appears real.
From a distance,
You say that you're my friend,
And you'll be there for me,
Always.
But once I get close,
Your "other" side appear.
You become mean and cruel,
And you change.
Up close it's all different-
Your flawless exterior becomes scratched,
And I don't know who you are anymore.
I've put up with you,
For so many months,
But I'm done fighting now,
It's all over,
I forgive you now,
You can't help how you act,
But don't ask for a second chance-
You can't change how you were,
You can't take back the pain.
I forgive you now,
But it's all over,
I won't fight you anymore.
