Things will be different
this time around.
It won't be like last time
I promise you.
And I will change
this I swear,
I will be kinder,
nicer,
gentler
etc., etc., etc.
You will be proud
and life will
be wonderful,
happy,
perfect
etc., etc., etc.
Not a word uttered
from my mouth
will be mean.
This I promise,
on my grandmother's grave.
And we will be happy,
not living with
meanness,
fighting,
etc., etc., etc.
