Alone

by Caitlin Blee (13)

There in the world I stood all alone,
In the middle of nowhere far away from home.
But what is home than the place you stay,
I stay all alone right here in the grey.
I live all alone and that's how I'll die,
Saying I have friends is merely a lie.
I lay alone just the night and the moon,
Staring, it will all be over so soon.
But how soon is soon, but not soon enough,
My soul is weak my body is tuft.
So I sit in this room waiting to die or to live, For life is a gift that I'm willing to give.
So while I'm waiting I'm waiting alone,
In the middle of nowhere far away from home.
