Dear Cousin,

Thank you for visiting this site! During the year 1999, I began to become aware of the great number of Wissner's in the world. This site has various information on the Wissner last name.

This site is also my geneology website.  Currently, there is information about my relatives on my fathers side.  There is information both about my grandfather Ray Wissner's family and my grandmother Genevieve Tyron.

I have not been able to find much information dating into the 1800's.  My great-great grandparents were born around 1850. I don't know the names of any of their siblings.  I have names for their children and possibly their grandchildren.

I am curious about my great-great grandparents. Where exactly did they come from? Why did they come to the USA? Who were there siblings and parents? What were there places in history? Are there cousins still living in Europe?
