An Act of Contrition

O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee. I detest my sins most sincerely not only because I fear hell and the loss of heaven but especially because they   displease Thee O my God Who art so deserving of all my love. On account of Thy Infinite Goodness and a most able confession, I firmly resolve, by the help of Thy Holy Grace,  never more to offend Thee and to amend my life forever. Amen

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory be to the Father.

St.Michael the Archangel defend us in battle. Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray and do Thou Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God , thrust into hell satan and all the wicked spirits who wander through the world seeking the ruination of souls. 

An Evening Prayer

We thank God for having spared us this day to love and to serve Him, for sparing us our daily bread and all the necessities for living.

God bless my mother and father, my brothers and sisters and God bless all our loved ones as Thy Heart knows how to bless them.

My guarding angel guide us against the evils of the devil. St. Christopher guide us on the streets. St.Joseph, patron of the dying and a happy death, pray for us.

Into Thy hands O Lord we commend our spirits. Lord Jesus receive our souls. In the name of Our Lord Jesus crucified we lay ourselves down to rest. Bless us O Lord and defend us ; preserve us from a sudden and unprovided death and bring us to life everlasting with Thee. Amen .
