Peel one apple, keeping the peeling in one long piece. Throw the peeling over your shoulder and see what letter is shown in the peeling after it has landed. You will marry someone with that initial.
At midnight on Samhain-eve, walk three times sunwise (all right turns) around the church, then stoop to peek into the key hole. You will see your intended in the church.
On Hallowe'en night, sit at your dressing table so you can see yourself in the mirror. Shut all the lights off and light one candle. Then cut an apple cross-wise, so that you can see the star in the center. Your intended will appear behind your shoulder in the mirror.
