The Enquirer’s enchanting celebration of gay marriage has inspired me to come to terms with my own sexual preference.
In today’s climate of increasing compassion and tolerance, my dog and I have decided to get married.
We have lived together for years now, and I know we love each other very much. After all, it’s like any other positive, loving relationship I’ve seen. That we cannot procreate is regrettable, but irrelevant.
Though the Bible condemns such unions as "abominations" there seems to be no shortage of clergypersons willing to preside at these ceremonies. Furthermore, I am confident that attorney Evan Wolfson or another like minded litigator will help me procure a marriage license and the legal benefits that it confers, such as automatic inheritance and health insurance for Fido.
