I am missing the point on Jim Borgman’s Oct. 16 editorial cartoon. Is he stating Issue 3, recently upheld, exempts gays from being victims of the murder statute of this state? I’m sure the senseless murder of Matthew Shepard in Wyoming is illegal in Wyoming and the other 49 states. The killers need to be punished for their actions, not thoughts. To criminalize one’s thoughts and opinions, no matter how distorted, will threaten our Constitution.
