School Bus Transportation and Discipline Plan

Riding the bus is a privilege provided by the State of North Carolina and can be denied for failure to  behave in an appropriate manner. To insure a safe and enjoyable ride to and from school, children should  be reminded frequently about the rules for good bus behavior:

—Remain seated until the bus stops

—Keep the aisles clear

—Sit in assigned seat only

—Follow all directions of the bus driver

—Books, book bags, etc., are to be held in the lap

—Use a quiet voice

—Enter and leave the bus in an orderly manner

—Objects are not to be thrown out the bus windows

—Students are not to yell out the windows

—NO live animals are allowed on the bus

—NO balloons are allowed on the bus

—No picking at others verbally or physically

—Keep hands and arms inside the bus

—No tampering with bus equipment

—ALL OTHER SCHOOL RULES APPLY TO BUSES
