When your child is well, please send him/her to school. When your child is sick, please keep him/her at home. If your child becomes sick at school, you will be called to pick up your child. Be sure to deep phone numbers updated including emergency contacts.

    Parents are asked to notify the school office when the child is absent. Students are required to bring a written note from their parents/guardians to school when they return following their absence. This note must explain the specific reason for the student's absence. Students who have been ill and absent from school may request homework assignments from their teachers. Parents are encouraged to contact the school office early in the morning regarding all homework requests. Homework may be picked up in the office after 3:15 p.m. Regular attendance is essential to success in school. A student not only misses work on the day of absences, but is not prepared for the next day because of missing instruction.
