Antigone Project

Welcome to your new culture!  Over the next several weeks, you and your group will be reading a version of Antigone written by an author of “your” culture.  Together you will analyze the play and present your findings to the class in a variety of formats, receiving both individual and group grades.

Scene iii.  Culture groups create list of individual responsibilities. Scene iv.  Individuals complete daily log of work done, initialed by contact
Act II – Rising Action
Scene i.  Read the play and discuss.
Scene ii.  Ask for help when needed.
Scene iii.  Work on written portions of Cliff’s Notes
Scene iv.  Complete wall.
Scene v.  Individuals complete daily log of work done, initialed by contact
Act III – Climax
Scene i.  Complete Cliff’s Notes, except for essays

Cliff’s Notes – 615 Points Total Recreation of the Play – 100 Points
In a 10 minute performance, recreate the events that occur in the play.  You may choose to perform live, on video tape, or with the use of puppets.  Grading will be based on accuracy, use of time, creativity, and ability to be understood by peers.
