There are two separate views to the Year of Jubilee, The Biblical and Non-Biblical view.
1> Biblical view Dec. 1997 - Dec. 1998
2> Non-Biblical view May 1998 - May 1999.
Both Jubilee's end by the difference of 6 months.

In Leviticus it is prophesied that God would bring peace within the land of Israel during this time of Jubilee. So will this peace indeed come? The answer to this question can be found in the oslo peace agreement signed by Israel and the PLO.

The oslo peace agreement clearly states that once autonomy has been given to the palestinian people, a peace settlement would be made within 5 years from the beginning of this palestinian self-rule. The beginning of this palestinian autonomy began in May of 1994 when Israel gave the palestinian people self-rule in parts of the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

And so, the deadline for this peace settlement between Israel and the palestinian people would occur no later than May of 1999, no later than 5 years, May 1994 - May 1999 according to the oslo peace agreement.

During the early stages of the the oslo peace accord, there was no doubt that this final settlement of peace would have occurred long before the year of Jubilee, but then suddenly on November 4th, 1995 Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin was assassinated, and because of this, the final peace settlement was then prolonged now causing this final event of peace to be fulfilled in the year of Jubilee....

This is a clear example on how the actions of mankind do indeed fulfill the word of God, for in Leviticus it is clearly stated that peace within Israel would occur in the year of Jubilee and not before. A peace that is seen in Revelation as the beginning of the end time events.

Following the death of Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, the newly elected Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu comes in with a whole new approach toward the oslo peace agreement.

Yes we will make peace, but Peace with Security.
Not only were these the words of Netanyahu, but this was also the slogan of his '96 campaign.

Joel 3:1-2

For behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem,
I will also gather all nations, and I will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, AND PARTED MY LAND.

Joel 3:4

Yea, and what have ye to do with me, O Tyre, and Zidon, and all the coast of PALESTINE? will ye render me a recompence? and if ye recompense me, swiftly and speedily will I return your recompence upon your own head;

Joel 3:9-10

Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare for war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up:
Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.

Joel 3:14-15

Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision.
The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.

The fury of God falls upon the nations of the world, for breaking the everlasting covenant, for causing Israel to give up land for peace. The land which God gave to Israel, through Abraham.

Isaiah 28:15

We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement;

Isaiah 28:18

And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it.

Isaiah 24:5-6

The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant.
Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned and few men left.

The only question that remains now would be, which Jubilee will bring the internal peace of Israel? The Biblical or Non-Biblical view?
The answer is Biblical, allow me to explain.

Before the Biblical view of Jubilee ends in Dec '98, Israel will make peace as fortold in Leviticus.

But then suddenly Israel will be attacked by Russia within the final 6 months of the Non-Biblical view of Jubilee, in the Winter Season of '98 (Dec '98 to May '99) as foretold by Jesus in Matthew. So this attack would have to occur during (Dec '98 to Mar '99) winter season.

Ezekiel 38:11
And thou shall say, I will go to up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely.

Ezekiel 38:14
Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say unto Gog; In that day when my people of Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know it?

The attack upon Israel will occur during the year of Jubilee, but it will be the Non-Biblical Jubilee.

This is why in Leviticus we see peace, but in Ezekiel we see war. Does the Bible contradict itself ? Of course not, there are two Jubilee's in the end times, (This is a Fact) God's Jubilee being one of peace and man's Jubilee being one of war.

When man brings peace to Israel in God's Jubilee, it is clearly man telling God, we will do it ourselves.

For when they shall say, peace and safety; then sudden distruction cometh upon them.

Ezekiel 38:23
Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the Lord.

Ezekiel shows us the first 50 years of Israel in the Last Days, from Independence Day to Jubilee.

Ezekiel 38:8
After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought fourth out of the nations. (Re-Birth of the State of Israel)

Here Ezekiel gives us the prophecy on how the re-birth of the State of Israel will take place, Israel being declared as a state by the United Nations on May 14th, 1948.

Ezekiel 38:8
and they shall dwell safely (Jubilee) all of them.

Ezekiel gives a perfect description of Israel from Independence Day to Jubilee. But from Jubilee will suddenly come a major war upon the nation, as one can clearly see in the following verse.

Ezekiel 38:9
Thou shall ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and many people with thee.
