Oils and their Magickal Powers
Following is a guide to the most-used magickal oils. I would recommend buying oils that are pure (not man-made). Sometimes they are hard to find but ones found in occult stores will do. I have had experiences where the oils I bought in an occult store weren't natural but they still did their job. You can substitute vegetable oil for any oil. Feel free to mix and blend your own private oils. If something you are looking for is not listed, please feel free to email me and I will reply as quickly as possible.
ACACIA: Possessing high spiritual vibrations, this oil is worn to aid meditation and to develop psychic powers. Some also use it to anoint their altars, censers, and candles.
ALLSPICE: Very vitalizing. Gives added determination and energy, excellent for convalescents. Anoint daily.
ANISE: A boon to clairvoyance, it is often added to a ritual-bath preceeding any attempt at divination. It is also worn during divinatory rituals.
APPLE BLOSSOM: Wear to promote happiness and success. Anoint candles during love rituals. Add to bath to aid relaxation.
AQUARIUS: (January 21 to February 19) The House of Friendship. Uranus is the ruling planet. Lucky day is Wednesday. Lucky numbers are 3 and 4. While Aquarius people are of a patient, faithful, and determined nature with great possibilites, they could use their special fragrance to give them that extra "get up and go" push which they often need to accomplish the goals of which they are inherently capable.
ARIES:(March 21 to April 20) Mars is the ruling planet. The House of Meditation and Life. Lucky day is Tuesday. Lucky number are 1 and 2. Noted for their push, drive and abilities, Aries people are aggressive and courageous leaders, capable organizers, and clear, direct thinkers. They sometimes use this special oil which enhances their natural clairvoyant abilities, and in the work they can do in healing with their hands and magnetic presence.
BANANA:When you wish to emerge from whatever burden or misfortune is weighing you down so that you can not flourish, use this oil as your personal scent.
BASIL: The scent of basil causes sympathy between two people so wear to avoid major clashes. It creates harmony of all kinds. Prostitutes used to wear it in Spain to attract business.
BAYBERRY: Anoint green candles for prosperity in the home. Brings "luck to your home and gold to your pocket." A magnetic oil to be worn by men.
BERGAMOT: Used in protective rituals and also in drawing prosperity. Wear on the palm of each hand.
BLACK CAT: One of the luckiest of all scents. Favored by gamblers. Sprinkle it on all entrances of the home so that negative entities will be unable to enter. Wear as a daily perfume so that only favorable circimstances and friendly encounters will be experienced as the day progresses.
CAMPHOR: Wear to strengthen psychic powers. Also anoint yourself when you have decided to break off with a lover, or when they have done so with you and you find it hard to let go.
CANCER:(June 22 to July 22) The House of Travel and Harmony. Moon is the ruling planet. Lucky day is Monday. Lucky numbers are 8 and 9. Cancers are great lovers of home and family. They are cautious and farsighted but with a restless disposition and somewhat changeable. This special blend will help one through the many ups and downs of life, changes of jobs, and the inevitable upheavals in circumstances, so that the pursuit of your own happiness can proceed in a serene manner.
CAPRICORN: (December 23 to January 20) The House of Business Profession. Saturn is the ruling planet. Lucky day is Saturday. Lucky numbers are 6 and 9. For these practical, ambitious, proud people, their special perfume will help them get through their disappointments and to release those inhibitions which sometimes could cause one to withdraw from the social life which we all need for a well-rounded personality.
CARNATION: This is an oil of power. It is used as an energy restorer after exertion, as an aid to healing, and in consecration ceremonies. Should be worn when extra energy for a ritual is needed.
CINNAMON: A high vibration oil, used for personal protection. It is also a sexual stimulant in the female. Added to any incense, it increases its powers. Mixed with powdered sandalwood, it makes an incense suitable for all religious or spiritual magick. Good for meditation, illumination, and visualization.
CINQUEFOIL: Protective, strengthens the five sense and also the five lucks - love, money, health, power and wisdom, and is often used to anoint amulet and charm bags.
CLOVE: An aphrodisiac, worn to attract lovers. Inhaled, the oil helps the memory and eyesight.
CORIANDER: A love oil used to anoint candles.
CUMIN SEED: Brings peace and harmony to the home. Anoint all doorways once a week just before sunrise when the household is asleep and all is quiet.
CYCLAMEN: Worn to ease childbirth by the expectant Mother. Also used in love and marriage spells.
CYPRESS: An oil of blessing, consecration, and protection. It is a symbol of the Earth-element, as well as of death. When attending a funeral of a friend or loved one, wear this oil so that you will be uplifted by the meaning of death as the doorway to but another life. It also effectively screens out the negative vibrations of the mourners. Wear on Samhain to become aware and remember those who have passed.
EUCALYPTUS: A healing oil, very useful in recuperation after long illnesses. Cures colds with daily application on the throat, forehead and wrists, and by adding it to healing baths. Also used for purification.
FRANKINCENSE: One of the most sacred of all oils, used to anoint magickal tools, the altar, etc. A strong purifier used in exorcisms, purification rituals and blessings.
GARDENIA: Wear to attract love. A powerful feminine magnetic oil. Protection.
GEMINI: (May 23 to June 21) The House of Versatility and Education. Mercury is the ruling planet. Lucky day is Wednesday. Lucky numbers are 3 and 8. Gemini's are ruled by the heart instead of the head, are sensitive and idealistic. They need the assistance of a special scent which can be relied upon to calm their restless nature, to soothe the tensions which plague their lives and to help them out in any emergency.
GINGER: A tropical aphrodisiac. Induces passion.
HELIOTROPE: High spiritual vibrations, drenched with the energies of the Sun. Aids in clairvoyance.
HONEYSUCKLE: An oil of the mind, it promotes quick thinking and is often used as a memory aid by dabbing on the temples. Also used in prosperity rituals.
HYACINTH: Brings peace of mind to the mentally disturbed. A very relaxing oil.
HYSSOP: Increases finances, and is added to the bath to create a purifying atmosphere. An excellent oil to wear during all types of magickal rituals.
JASMINE: Symbol of the Moon and the mysteries of the night. Jasmine oil is used to attract love. The scent helps one to relax, sleep and also facilitates childbirth. It is sometimes used for meditation and general anointing purposes. This is a purely spiritual oil.
LAVENDER: Used in healing and purifying rituals, and also to arouse sexual desire in men.
LEMON GRASS: An aid to the psychic powers. Wear on the Third Eye. Spiritualists and mediums use it to help make contact with spirits.

MIMOSA: Used in healing rituals, and also in producing prophetic dreams. Anoint the forehead before sleeping.
MINT: Used in prosperity spells, and to increase one's business. Anoint wallets.
MUSK: The universally excepted sex scent. It is also worn to purify and gain courage.
MYRRH: A purification, protection, and hex-breaking oil. Anoint the house every morning and evening as a part of any purification ritual.
NARCISSUS: This oil brings peace and harmony, soothes the nerves and relaxes the conscious mind.
NEROLI: Magnetic women's oil. Rub between the breasts to attract men, or onto the temples to give peace.
NUTMEG: This oil is rubbed onto the temples and the Third Eye to help in meditation and to induce sleep. It is protective as well.
ORANGE BLOSSOM: To make a person in the mood for marriage, wear this oil.
ORRIS ROOT: Attracts the opposite sex. Wear on your clothes.
PATCHOULY: A very powerful occult oil, one of the magnetic oils to be worn by men. It attracts women and also wards off negativity and evil, gives peace of mind, and is very sensual.
PEONY: A lucky scent for all who need customers, success in business, or good fortune.
PEPPERMINT: Used to create changes within one's life. Also used to relax and unwind.
PISCES: (February 20 to March 20) The House of Invention and Justice. Jupiter is your ruling planet. Lucky day is Friday. Lucky numbers are 1 and 2. While Pisces people are kind, moral, capable, methodical, and logical, they often lack the ability to discern dishonesty and untrustworthiness in others. ROSE: A love oil.
ROSE GERANIUM: Oil of Protection. Anoint windowsills, doors of house. Wear on self.

RUE: An excellent personal attraction oil, but sometimes sets off violent allergic reactions in people. If you are sensitive to strong oils do not wear this scent.

VIOLET: This oil is used in love operations and is sometimes sexually exciting. However, many people can't stand the fragrance of the violet, for some curious reason. Once thought to be sacred to the Fairy Queen (The Goddess of the Witches). Very healing added to baths.
VIRGO: (August 23 to September 22) The House of Health and Service. Mercury is the ruling planet. Lucky day is Wednesday. Lucky numbers are 7 and 9. Typical characteristics of those born under this sign are modesty, unselfishness, an industrious nature, and pleasing personality. They are very active, have good endurance, and an ardent love of nature. This scent will bolster their sometimes easily hurt feelings and damaged ego.
WISTERIA: The door between the world of men and the realm of the Gods, the passort to hight consciousness. Wisteria is used to contact other planes of consciousness and existance, and to bring illumination. Wear only when in complete serenity.
