Self-Hypnosis

Hypnosis is a way of giving the conscious mind a rest and letting the sub conscious mind take over for a while. You would be surprised how many problem get pushed to the sub conscious and just sit there. Every problem that you have ever encountered, every experience that you have ever been through is stored in your sub conscious. Hypnosis is a way of digging into the sub-conscious to bring those painful experiences to the surface so they can be dealt with. through hypnosis, I have been able to let go of many built up problems. I have forgiven people who have hurt me in the past, and I have released all kinds of emotions that were festering. Hypnosis sessions can be costly and should only be done by a professional. Hypnosis is another form of relaxation. While under hypnosis, your body is so relaxed that when you come out you do not want to move. I feel in love with the feeling of total relaxation so I started performing self-hypnosis every night before bed. It helped me to sleep better and also to meditate. Self-hypnosis could never take the place of hypnosis by a professional, but it serves its purpose. I have discovered, through self-hypnosis, that it made it easier for me to travel to the astral realm. It happened by accident at first, but ever since then I perform self-hypnosis every time I feel the need to journey. Self-hypnosis could also be used to contact your Guardian Angel. Listed below is a self-hypnosis script you could utilize. It is very effective as long as you are open to it. Always remember, hypnosis can not be performed if the person does not believe in it.

Find a place where you will not be disturbed. Try to make sure the place you choose is as quite as possible. Sit or lie down, which ever is most comfortable. Start by taking deep breaths to relax. Once you feel you are ready, take a deep breathe. As you inhale, breathe in confidence, and as you exhale, breathe out fear. Take another deep breathe. Inhale peace and exhale all the stresses of the day. Now, inhale again and hold it. Count (slowly) three, two, one; and then exhale completely. Picture yourself laying on a white, fluffy cloud drifting higher and higher. You are feeling more and more relaxed the higher you go. Your head is starting to relax, you face muscles, your neck, all relaxed. Your shoulders, your chest. You notice your breathing is nore constant, relaxed. Your rib cage, your hips, all relaxed now. As you inhale, feel your breath reaching down as far as your pelvis, relaxing it. Your upper thighs, your lower thighs, your knee caps, all at peace, relaxed. Your calves, your ankles, and finally your toes, all relaxed. Notice how relaxed your whole body is. Now, your floating drops you off at the top of a hugh staircase. There are twenty-five steps ahead of you, and at the bottom of the staircase is a hugh white bed made of all feathers with a big feather pillow. Each you move down you will count, starting with twenty-five and ending with one. As soon as you say the number one, you will fall directly onto the big, fluffy, feather bed. Count slowly giving your sub-conscious time to absorb your commands. Ready? twenty-five, feeling relaxed. Twenty-four, twenty-three, relaxing every muscle in your body. Twenty-two, twenty-one, you are falling into a deep hypnotic rest. Twenty, nineteen, a nice deep realxing peace. Eighteen, seventeen, deeper and deeper. Sixteen, fifteen feeling light as air, safe and secure. Fourteen, thirteen, more and more relaxed, loose and limp. Twelve, eleven, deeper and more deeper. Ten, nine, more and more relaxed, loose and limp. Eight, seven, moving down those steps. Six, five deeper and deeper yet. Four, three, relaxed, loose and limp, safe and secure. Two, and one, falling onto the feather bed in a deep, relaxing hypnotic rest.

Now you are in a deep, relaxed state of mind. You could stay there and enjoy the peacefulness, or you could start your meditiation or journey. When I journey, I say to myself, "Now, to the astral realm!" Once I say that command, the journey begins. Don't worry if you happen to fall asleep, it happens to everyone. Just keep doing it over and over and eventually you will get it!

When you feel you are finished, you could either drift off to sleep, or take yourself out of hypnosis. To do that, count from five to one slowly. Five, feeling safe and secure, four, feeling awake and alert, remembering everything. Three, feeling refreshed in every way, two, eyes starting to open. One, eyes are open, feeling rejuvenated in every way. I normally just drift off to sleep. Sometimes, though, my journeys give ma a jolt of energy and I am wide awake. It all depends on what happens while you are under. Through frequent self-hypnosis sessions, you will feel more relaxed, refreshed and peaceful in every way. Try it, I am sure you will enjoy it!
