Dr Richard F. Gottier, founder and president of Zion Ministries, is a teacher focusing on God's call to instruct the end-time army. He speaks at conferences and churches on a wide variety of biblical truths centering around the renewed mind, preparation for spiritual warfare, and the living of a victorious, overcoming Christian Life.
Dr. Gottier is the past president of CBN University and was host of " The Lesson" on the Christian Broadcasting Network for some time.
Prior to moving to Virginia Beach, Dr Gottier served as president of Western New England College in Springfield, Massachusetts; Academic vice president of Spring Arbor College in Michigan, and chairman of the department of Psychology at Findlay College in Ohio. Dr. Gottier pastored for thirteen years and worked in higher education for more than twenty years.
Dr Gottier received his A.B. degree from Asbury college, his B.D. degree from Winebrenner Theological Seminary, and Ph.D. degrees in experimental psychology from Bowling Green State University.
Having been caught up in the world of academe, intellectualism and humanism, Dr. Gottier returned to the authority of the Word of God and to the fullness of the Holy Spirit in 1974.
He is now doing research and writing and living in North Carolina with his wife, Carol. They Have three married daughters.
