Selassie I is a direct descendent of David, 225th in line of Ethiopian kings stretching in
unbroken succession from the time of King Solomon and Queen of Sheba. The story of their
meeting is in the bible but, somehow in that version a large portion of the story was left
out. Well, JAH would not keep you in the darkness so here is the story: King Solomon who
was known to be the wisest man in his time. Queen Makeda (Queen of Sheba) heard
about King Solomon and his wisdom that JAH had blessed him with from her merchant {Tamrin}.
Her understanding and intelligence, which JAH had given her, were of such high character
that she went to Jerusalem to hear the wisdom of Solomon. When the Queen arrived she
brought to the King many precious gifts. Solomon was pleased with her gifts and enchanted
by her beauty. Makeda listen to the wisdom of Solomon and admired his handsome stature.
Solomon asked Makeda about her belief in God. Makeda said, we believe in the sun god the
life giver. Then Solomon said I believe in the god that made the sun, the living God the
god of Israel. After listening to Solomon about the wonders of JAH, Makeda now believed in
the Living God, The God of Israel. He being a lover of women he devised a plan to have
her. So one day he invited her to spend the day with him and observe how he ran his
kingdom. He instructed the cook to prepare the meal extra
child, if she had a son. He did this
because of his dream. She departed on her long journey home. On the way to her country she
gave birth nine months and 5 days later to a baby boy. His name was Bayne Lehkem,
a.k.a. {Menelik I}
meaning son of the wiseman.

God(s) do you worship? Why is it that every time JAH establishes a rule or code of conduct
man comes along and changes it or states that it does not matter? If that was truly the
case did why did He bother to send the messengers, and the prophets, and all the others
ordained by the Most High? By whose authority do you change the ordinances of God; is
there someone above Him? Know you not that just about all the names in the Bible have been
changed. Do you know why? Because, in ancient times a name was not just a label. A man's
name revealed the true nature of the one who bears that name. Nearly all-African names
have a meaning; it would describe the personality of an individual, his character or some
major events in his life. This was especially true if the parents of that child received
the name from the Most High, via one of his messengers. So my question to you today is how

with him in his chambers. Makeda agreed as long as Solomon did not try to take advantage
of her. So Solomon agreed, as long as she did not ask for anything or take anything that
belonged to him, he would not. Solomon knew that the food he had prepared for them would
make her thirsty. After dinner he had a servant put a vessel of water in a bowl on a table
in his chamber. That night while they were sleeping Makeda, being thirsty, got up to get
some water. Solomon awoke and said we had an agreement that she would not take anything.
So she allowed Solomon to be with her. That night Solomon had a dream that the sun moved
from Israel to Ethiopia. They loved one another dearly. {Makeda is known to have written some of the verses
of the Songs of Solomon.} During Makeda's stay with Solomon she became pregnant,
unknown by her or Solomon at the time. The Queen knew she had to return to her Kingdom
knowing that her people depended on her. Solomon told Makeda about his dream and she said,
