OUR
STORY

his is the month we were given to remember black his-story. Most times they start our-story around the 1500's, the beginning of slavery for the African in Europe. They neglect the fact that as Africans our-story is much longer. We some times forget we are of African decent remembering only that we are Black Americans therefore shorting our-story to the beginning of slavery.  I am not saying that we should forget about our experience in America.  Our many accomplishments helped better the life of people in this country and others. It is a tragedy that in this country, that the man who invented blood plasma bag Dr. Charles Drew would bleed to death.  The racism of this country has killed many prominent black men.  Look at Dr. Martin Luther King who preached non-violence as a way to over come oppression.  They killed him, a peace loving man who had a dream for America. This land is soaked with the blood of our people, who fought and died for our freedom.  Just let no one limit us to just being slaves.  The same people who held us in bondage are the same ones who had control ofour-history. One of the ways to keep people slaves is to make them forget who they were. Did you know that Africa is the birthplace of the Human Race? A white anthropologist named Dr. Richard Leakey has discovered this fact. Dr Leakey and his African guide, who also was an anthropologist, found the remains of an

Retribution

During Black History month we would like to point out the greatest holocaust ever, and ask the question. Does the black man deserve retribution for slavery? The black man has endured many hardships, but the most devastating was colonization and slavery. Colonization and slavery are the causes of majority of our problems. During slavery the Black man was reduced to a beast of burden. They treated us just like a farm animal. People treat their animals different so you have so call good and bad masters, but the situation was the same a slave. We were herded like animals then march across African held in dungeons, then packed like sardines in a ship. There you lay on your back urinating and defecating on yourself for weeks. When someone died which always happen they usually left the decaying body in the hole still chained to you. When we arrived in America, we were sold on auction blocks. Once with our new master we were whipped and tortured into submission. Women and children were sexually abused right in front of the men. They even had states that breed slaves for sale. The humiliation and pain suffered by black people was tremendous. It is so terrible, it can not be describe without causing pain. Did you know that during that period in history we estimate between 50 million to 150 million black people died? That has to be the worse holocaust in history. We need to build a Black Holocaust Museum to show our people and other the tragedy of that era. There is no secret as to who

HIS  IMPERIAL MAJESTY EMPEROR HAILE SELASSIE I

African woman, who lived a few million years ago. They named her Lucy and thorough DNA they found that Lucy was the world's common ancestor. In other words she was the mother of the world. Our-story is so grand it might seem like a fairytale to some. We need to learn our history so we can recapture our glorious past. The past is the key to the future. Did you know that a lot of people think Queen Cleopatra is a white woman? The truth is she was black an Egyptian. They are trying to make people believe the Egyptians were a white race living in Africa. They want to steal our history and claim it as their own. They know that the ancient Egyptian civilization named Kemet is where they learned to be civil. They learned all the basics of civilization from the Kemetians. Did you know that Ethiopia was the first Christian kingdom? Ethiopia first King Menelik I was the son of King Solomon and Queen Makeda (Queen of Sheba).
