The Repentance of Spirit
by Ra-Harakhte

Since the downfall of humankind was the result of its dubious error in allowing itself to forget the nature of existence, the obvious way to salvation would be to re-learn all we have forgotten. But how to do this? Are we not at the mercy of present events and circumstances? And if these scenarios are descended from our own downfall, how can we possibly find the truth within them?

Simple, because the nature of spirituality still exists. Remember, we have only forgotten about our spiritual nature, not separated ourselves from it, and that be only by our ideas.

We have the understanding of evolution and its nature: To make things better with Time. And fortunately, we have enough recorded Time in history to see the path we must take: Love, kindness, forgiveness. Everything points toward that. Recent examples: The Jews in World War II, Women's rights, Freedom for the Black and other Non-Whites, and just recently, the understanding and compassion for Gays.

Why these things?

Because there is the innate understanding within all of us that we are all connected and the same, an aspect of enlightened spirituality. Though many people on a conscious level like to deny this, and this again is bore out from the history of ideas and emotions, not understanding, the truth of the matter is clear.

If there is not this connection, then why do people risk their own lives to save another? Why do we have compassion for endangered species? With the earth itself? Because we are connecting with all of these things -- another proof of our Oneness with all things in the design of the spirit. Unfortunately, it takes that one moment of possible annihilation for these things which force us to recognize it.

So one aspect of spiritual repentance is the love and compassion for all living things at all times, and the ability to forgive, not only those who do things which you disapprove of, but also yourself for not understanding why they do them.

Sometimes all it takes is the simple understanding of why people do certain things that can lead to enlightenment. For instance, you might think it be horrible for a child to brutally beat his mother, but how would the perception be if you came to the conclusion the mother routinely abused the child? Beat him, denied him love, shouted and called him "stupid and worthless," ripped his favorite teddy bear into pieces before him? Ah, a level of understanding has been reached and now there is compassion or at least realization of why events turned out the way they did. Though both the mother and child did heinous things to each other, know this: They each had their reasons. No one is inherently evil without a cause for being that way. And know this to: If either had knowledge of their spirituality, they would have seen the uselessness of their actions, but alas, they did not, so they will have to learn it. And so do we.

Since all things are connected and are one, when we cause harm to another, we truly do cause harm to ourselves. In one form or another, when we come to the realization of our actions and their consequences, and put ourselves into the place of that which we have abused, we realize the heinous consequences of our behaviors. It does come back to us. So why not do something that is great and wonderful: Like telling somebody how beautiful they are, how great they are. If we were to love people as much as we harm and smite them, how much better would the world and universe be?

When we love unconditionally, it frees the other person's soul to be who and what they are. And in return, it does the same to you.

Unconditional love breeds unconditional life

Natural Repentence

Since the goal of emergence from the Nothingness was to become All That the Potential Was Within the Nothingness, our "downfall" really has not been a downfall, just another reflection of that goal. Ultimately, without the so-called downfall, we could never have the opportunity to learn, understand, grow, and reflect the nature and existence of the potential from which we sprang. We couldn't understand the potentiality without at first seeing what "life" would be like without it. Now we have.

We have waddled in the pools of blood created from millennia of carnage and ignorance, created by our ideas and beliefs. If part of our "trip" to the attainment of the goal of Reflecting the Potentiality is to exist for a time without the understanding and mental disconnection to it, then by all means we have DONE IT. Now it's time to move on.

Fortunately, since the goal is the Maximum Reflection of the Potentiality, we have always lived "naturally" to our own repentance by the simple nature of our spiritual design. Remember, life is the existence of the spirit, not the body, thus our repentance is not defined by our material life, but our spiritual.

As stated earlier, the design of all the energy released from the Nothingness was to ultimately return back into that state; There is no need to "worry" about whether or not you will ever get there, for there is no way around it -- everything must come full circle. The problem is the question of when will your energy be pristine enough, or has experienced and learned enough, to where its only course of change is to the Nothing again?

Having a connection and co-existence with the Divine goes beyond happiness, it is actually bliss. Bliss being in complete oneness with all things (which you really ARE, you are only separated by your ignorance of this). And that is truly what we are all striving for, to shed our ignorance and become one consciously with All That Is.

And with the knowledge of true spirituality, the attainment of that Bliss is more easily achieved than by simply handing your life over to someone purported to have died two thousand years ago that you have never met, nor whose gospels can be verified as being written by actual observers.

Spiritually, we will Naturally Repent, but we cannot reach that Bliss until we have learned the understanding and Life behind it . . . Understand Who we Are, and what we truly Represent . . . Understand that we, in conjunction with all life, are the sum of God, beyond even the God of the Bible.
