Apollo 11
Hi my name is Angel. Im studying about Apollo 11.  I chose this topic because they were the first men on the moon.  I wanted to learn about the moon also. This is what I learned.

 The lift off was July 16, 1969. The first men on the moon were Neil Armstrong, Michael Collins, Edwin Aldrin. The commander is Neil Armstrong. The first trip to the moon was at 10:56 pm. On July 20, was the day Neil Armstrong, Edwin Aldrin put the flag. But he would explore first around the moon.  Michael Collins was out contact for good because he was circling around the moon.  But then he got back with contact. Four days after they found the moon orbit.  On July 20,1969 Michael Collins is 38 years old. They landed on the pacific ocean.

 Neil Armstrong collected a rock that was 4.6 billion years old. Edwin and Michael they picked up 23 kilograms of soil and rock.  The returned to earth on July 24 eight days after their lift off.  They were a suit that weighs 350 pounds it weighs 160 km on earth. It takes 3 days from the earth to the moon.  They traveled 240,000 miles and 385,000 km through space.  The moon weighs lighter then the earth. People weighs less on the moon then on the earth. Because the moon gravity is week.  They're might be seas or oceans in the moon.  The moon is 80 times smaller then the earth.
 

Neil Armstrong became a director of space.Edwin
became a space engineer .  Michael became a director of the national air and space museum.  Neil Armstrong has a child he loved to flight and built a wind tunnel in the basement.  Michael Collins his first mission was in 1966.The first American astronaut was Alan Sheppard.
