This page was all fouled up for about a week due to my overzealous changes to my directories and subdirectories -- it should be all back together now. My old friend Matteus pointed out to me that none of my links worked -- Thanks, and how did the pow-wow go?

My daughter has a cold, poor little thing, and has so much snot in her nose she can hardly eat, breathe, or sleep. So much for the antibodies in breastmilk... no, really, she's been remarkably healthy so far, no diaper rash even, and I am still breastfeeding her at 9 months, so I'd like to take a little credit for that. But one of the results is that I'm spoiled... she is so good-natured that on the rare occasions when she's fussy or can't sleep, I am almost at a complete loss. I couldn't stay awake last night after two virtually sleepless nights, and she woke up at 2 a.m. and wanted to play, so I put her in her playpen because I couldn't keep my eyes open to watch her. (She sleeps with me on a futon mattress on the floor, so I can't just let her be awake and unsupervised, she'd get into something.) Poor thing thinks the playpen is a jail, because she basically gets free run of the house, and only has to go in it when I'm in the shower or something. But it was that or end up losing my temper. This would all be so much easier if babies knew how to blow their noses...
