Got my levy packet for Frankfurt, Germany today (a levy packet is the preliminary to getting your orders cut, basically). This is very good news, since it most likely means I will be sitting behind a desk somewhere doing personnel stuff instead of going to the field for ten days and trying to figure out why the oil pan on a Humvee won't stop dripping (this is known as a Class III leak and it is very bad no matter what you're driving). Maybe my daughter will be bilingual...
