Welcome to Dr. J and the Exceptional Dialogue
Thinking, at least in human terms, appears to be a specific language related, internal (within the mind or brain), and meaningful outcome producing function within whatever abilities we have to do that. From this one line reduction of a very complex process, we want to use this page to examine how we can do some of this better, thinking, that is. It seems evident from even a cursory survey of the human condition, that some don't think about things very well. News stories everyday dramatize this. Harmful mayhem, crimes, and social and behavioral dysfunction of all types aren't thought to to result from sound thinking. Minds affected by substance and alcohol use, poverty, ignorance, poor or non-existing parenting, and other factors like stress, fatigue, and mental illness, can't engage in thinking that leads to the most "...meaningful outcome producing functions." Beyond this, also, there are forces all around us, including our leaders and opinion makers, that seem to engage in thinking that can be questioned, and is questioned from our definitional viewpoint. This is our aim here and sets the framework within which we want to describe how we wish to act on our thoughts. The reader is asked to see if any of these ideas strike some chord of harmony.

Examining the foibles and faux pas of friends and not yet friends alike is the content of our Foolish One series. Wow, can we get into some strange situations and make some outrageous blunders. Ah, but that helps make life interesting...and maybe more demanding than one needs.
