Chance Flew Away

When I laid my eyes on you,
I figured it must've been a dream.
I could no longer think,
and then you started to talk.
You were everything I would've hoped for,
But I was trapped within my timid character.

Now I wonder why I let you go,
the only one who I've ever cared about,
the only one who made me feel the way I did,
and now you are out of my reach,
How could I have ever been so stupid?

Now I can't stop wondering,
if I was a little more exciting,
would I be standing by your side?
if only you could see through my shell,
then maybe my life would be like heaven.
Why did I have to be so quiet,
I have nothing to live for anymore.

all I can see is other guys.

I will never get another chance.
But if only I had another chance with you,
I would change everything to get closer,
but I see you're preoccupied,
will you ever start to notice me?

makes me more in love with you.
Now I realize a fact,
