| Mandir or Temple is the abode of God. The temple is the focus for all aspects of everyday life in the Hindu community - religious, cultural, educational and social. The Hindu Temple of Birmingham will be an effective center to promote bhakti (devotion), rich culture and heritage of India, peace of mind, self-confidence, universal brotherhood, and religious harmony among all the people. This project has been successful because of dedication, hardwork, and generous donations from the members of the community. |
