As for Simon Gandolfi, all his works listed on your page use the s me character created by A.M. in Golden Girl. You should also note that there are two "Navarone" sequels written by Sam Llewellyn, and I believe the titles are "Storm Force From Navarone" and "Thunderbolt from Navarone".

With reference to C.Martin(Guestbook 12.27.99) who asks where the quotation in HMS Ulysses "in goone" etc comes from. It actually comes from Geoffrey Chaucer's "The Knight's Tale" line 2602. It is part of the description of where Palamon and Arcite get re dy to do battle. Hope this gets through to him as my attempts to e-mail have failed. Good luck with the site. Jim Mackenzie

Just in case you have not already been told "The Secret Ways" is the same as "The Last Frontier". The title "The Secret Ways" was used for a film version which (so far as I know) has never been released in England. When interviewed on English T.V. in the 970's MacLean said his own favourite book was "Fear is the Key". In English schools 25-30 years ago "Night Without End" was studied to examination level by 16 year old students.
