As of June 15, 1998, I'm a 16-year old poet and musician, living in Western NY. For as long as I can remember, I've written poems, in the form of song lyrics or straight poetry. Most of these are recent poems...some of my older poetry has been published, in a typical anthology, not really any big deal, under the name Martha Barrett. That's my poetry history. Now about me...well, my life consists of school, work, soccer (playing and coaching), my friends, and my art (not really art...I'm not much of a typical artist, I mean more music and poetry). I'm an Internet junkie who still can't make her own web page, so she has her friend Brian make it for her. (love ya Bri!) I love to meet new people, especially interesting people who can constantly keep me entertained. Ok, this is starting to sound like a personals ad, so I think I'll stop. Any criticism of my poems is welcomed, so long as it's constructive. :-)
