Love keeps one still,
yet lets one go free,
it wraps us in ropes,
and gives us our glee.
It takes days away,
and adds many years,
a life time of joy,
an hour of fears.
It changes one mind,
to think clear and then stray,
it befuddles your wits,
fearful, sad to then gay.
Love gives away memories,
for prices unknow,
when true to the fact,
memories are all one can own.
Time will run out,
and love still won't appear,
what one thought was love,
is now shed by a tear.
I know not what to happen,
when the clock hits its end,
weather it truly be love,
or just a close hearted friend.
