What's Happening?
Ordination
Bro Paul Shi will be ordained a deacon on the 15th January 1999 at the Church of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, Seria. The mass will begin at 5.00 p.m. You are all invited to attend. Please pray for Paul on his final step in his journey towards the priesthood. Donations envelopes can be obtained at the information counter.
Bethany House
Bethany House is now open to accept any elderly or sick parishioners on either a short term or long term basis. Various programmes for the senior parishioners are being organised. Further details are available at the Information Counter. Wanted: Any used wheelchair, crutches, walkers, bed-pan. Your donation will be greatly appreciated.
Parents Meeting
The Parents of all those youth intending to continue in the Confirmation Programme are requested to attend a Meeting on Tuesday, 19th January 1999 at 8.00 p.m. where the Confirmation programme will be explained in detail and questions can be answered. The Session will include an Enrollment Ceremony.
Bahasa Mass
There will be a mass in Bahasa on Tuesday on Tuesday, 12th January at 8.00 p.m. You are invited to join our Bahsa speaking Parishioners at this Eucharistic Celebration.
Baptism Course for Trainers
A two-seession course on preparing parents of infants who will be receiving baptism will begin on Wednesday, 13th January 1999. All those wishing to take part in this course are requested to enrol at the Parish Office as soon as possible.
BCYC Masquerade
The Brunei Catholic Youth Council is organising a New Year's Party for all youth in the Prefecture. This gathering will take place at the Parish Centre on Saturday, 30th January 1999. Tickets are now available at $8.00 per head. Early bird price (before 15th January) is $5.00 per ticket. Tickets can be obtained at the Information Counter or from any of the BCYC members.

Divine Mercy
THe monthly Novena to the Divine Mercy will take place on Friday, 15th January 1999 immediately after the eveming Service. You are all invited to participate.
Media Centre
The Media Centre is open from 2:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m. during the weekdays.

Pledge
So far only over 384 parishioners have pledged towards the Building Fund. This is only a very small percentage of the parishioners here. We appeal once again too all concerned to make a generous contribution each month. Inquire at the Information Counter.
