CONCRETE JUNGLE

Into the mighty jungle
Gallantly, I walked
Unaware that I was
The prey the hunter stalked.

"Don't be the fool that rushes."
So many tried to warn;
But hasty ego daring
Drove me out into the morn.

So bold and brave and foolish,
I ventured out alone,
With arrogant defiance,
To meet the great unknown.

So swiftly was I captured!
The price I paid was dear;
The lesson learned was 'caution'
For the jungle harbors fear.
