MUHAMMMAD'S BIO DATA
___________________________________________________
Assalamualaikum and greetings,
Hi, I was born a very cute
little boy to my very happy parents, especially my father, who had been
waiting for a baby boy after four baby girls were born after my one and
only big brother Malik who was born in 1945. So, when dawn was breaking
one fine morning on Monday, 30th June 1959, a beautiful brown boy was born,
that was me!! My mother was not surprise at my rather dark colour
because just a day before my birth ,a black crow came to my mother's hospital
bedroom and started caw-cawing. Well, my mom thought ,this time papa will
be so happy, its going to be a boy, allright, black or brown!!! I
am a Malaysian Malay anyway,a race
whose skin colour ranges from snow white fair to black indigo!!!!!
The black crow must have been a
good sign. I grew up to be a truly brilliant child, just 3 points
away from being a prodigy. I came first in Standard 1(Year 1) exams
out of 195 other kids and one of the only 3 that got 5 A's in the
Standard Five Assessment Tests. With that asset I managed to enter the
Malay
College Kuala Kangsar, the most prestigious secondary school in the
nation at that time. I obtained aggregate 9 for my LCE and
aggregate 12 for my MCE (Malaysian Certificate of Education, equivalent
to the 'O'-level), with A's in Mathematics, Physics, Biology and Chemistry. Amongst the 120 thoroughbreds of Form Five 1996, I was the best student in Chemistry, second best in biology and third best in Physics.
In Form 2, I qualified to join the Debating Club & represent my House
in debates and in Form 3, I won the Novice Championship in Chess Competition,
& represent the school in chess tournaments.
After MCE,I was offered to further
my studies in UK. I did my A-level in Blackburn College, Lancashire and
completed my first degree in Liverpool University with a 2:1 (honours) in June 1982. Really I should have obtained a first class honours degree, but I didnt get good greds for my lab works as the supervisory attendant was not a professor but a postgrad student who was so dumb, he didnt appreciate my hard work!!!!
After graduation, I went to India and Pakistan to learn more about the Islamic way of life. After coming home, I have decided to
work in ITM even though I had been offered higher pay from Petronas and
also from Esso.
I
have a wonderful sister,Maznah, and she would asked me what kind of girl
I would like to marry. She introduced Robiah to me, a school teacher in
Sungai Pelek (near Sepang), and on the 6th of August 1983, we tied the
knot.
We started having lots of children.Imran
Shafeeq was born in May 1984
and in December 1985, Umair Rafeeq came. Mohd Dzilhikmi was delivered in
September 1987 . Our first girl was a fat round baby we called Maryam Jameelah.
She's special because she was born in my car under a huge haunted tree
at 6 am in the morning of 15th July 1989. Well, I had to play mid-wife
then before I zoomed off to the hospital.
I have
children by now!!!
The fifth was born in April 1991.We
named him Mohd Imaduddin Hasan.
Our second girl was born in Rutherglen
Maternity Hospital, Glasgow, Scotland in a cold wintry morning of November
29,1992. My wife had prayed for a girl and would named her Fatimatuzzahrah
when we went for our Umrah in Mecca in 1990. I am happy that her prayers
had been answered. She had also prayed for her to be beautiful. Yes, she
is.
Later, on the 22nd of July 1994, Mohd
In'Amul Hassan was born. My
eighth child was born in 1996. A boy we named Mohd Habiburrahman.
