List for Further Reading

Glass-Koentop, Pattalee. Year of Moons, Season of Trees: This was the first book I read on the subject, and so holds a fond place in my heart... It is set up as a moon calendar system, with a ritual for each tree-moon, and lots of information on each tree.

Graves, Robert. The White Goddess: It is the "seminal" work on the subject. Very wordy, somewhat dry, and complicated in its connections of world mythologies. Still, a must-read.

King, John. The Celtic Druids' Year: King has a slightly different view on the calendar, but a very well put together argument. Even if you're not interested in the calendar aspects of Ogham, this book is interesting.

Paterson, Helena. The Celtic Lunar Zodiac: Just like the title says, this book proposes a zodiac based on the tree-months. At the very least, the illustrations are beautiful.

--. The Handbook of Celtic Astrology: A continuation of the above title, without the artwork. More astrology-oriented, but still has some interesting correspondences.

Thorsson, Edred. The Book of Ogham: Gives a very complete system for divination with entries on each tree.
